Amazing fact about Adobe Photoshop
I read it, couldn’t believe it. Read it again… No it must be a joke, then I read all the replies, people that actually tried it and it worked for them also. But can it be true? I pulled myself out of the bed did the test and WoW it really works…
You simply can’t print images of currency bills in Adobe Photoshop :). After doing the test myself, I tried a little google search and it seems that the info isn’t new at all, I found posts about it dating back to early 2004 but for me it was a revelation…
If you know it, then you are probably thinking that I should be more updated, and if you don’t you are probably thinking that I am crazy… Well do the test yourself.
Get a currency bill (I tried it with a $50 USD with Adobe Photoshop CS2) and place it on the side that has those little yellow zeros, take a shot (take it RAW).
Open the raw file in photoshop and adjust the exposure so that those zeros are not blown out and try to click on open…
You should get now a message saying “This application does not support the printing of banknote images” etc…
Pretty amazing hein!
