Dust-Aid warning for new Canon EOS owners

Since the new sensor cleaning product dust-aid was released it was quickly adopted and praised by various DSLR owners, here is a link to a recent review of this product on Copper Hill.

However since a couple of days ago a word of warning has been circulating the net about using dust-aid to clean the sensor of your Canon EOS 5D, Canon EOS 400D and/or Canon EOS 1DMKIII.

To reduce noise in the digital dark room there are well know, but rather expensive, commercial tools like Neat image and Noise Ninja.
