Photographer of the week : Michael Shaw

Our photographer of the week is Michael Shaw from North West of England – UK.
Michael told us the following about his relationship with photography :

“I have been a frustrated artist, frustrated with my lack of patience. I picked up a camera at the back of 2006 to see if I could do something about it and was hooked from that day on.
Photography has become my passion. Since that time I have spent most of my free time learning how to use both the camera and the post editing techniques.
I look at the world as if I am looking through a viewfinder, everything is framed and my camera is never too far way. I enjoy both the serenity of the landscape and the hustle and bustle of the urban, I am at ease in both locations and find so much beauty in all I can see.”

I leave you to enjoy 10 of his selected pictures, for more of Michael’s work, you can view his site or Deviant Art gallery, follow up with him on his Google + Account or on his Facebook Page

The camera itself doesn’t matter at the beginning stages. I would
recommend getting a digital camera to start as you can take tons of
images and get instant feedback on what you are shooting.
