One of the many lists I keep is a list of the places I would like to visit before I die, going over that list again I have noticed that the reason I would like to visit all these places is PHOTOGRAPHY.

So here is, in no specific order, the list of the 10 places I wish to visit someday

Pilansberg in South Africa

A Safari ! I would love to spend a few days shooting animals in the wild. Why Pilansberg ? Honestly I don’t know, I think because friends of mine went there and told me they had a great time. So if you know any other good place for a safari let me know.

2. Nepal

I am unable to decide if I am more attracted by the landscape or “street” photography there. But being in touch with such different cultures and so many breath taking landscape would be really a lifetime experience.

3. Tibet

Another place where both culture and landscape are fascinating. Deep down I know that, if I ever get the chance, I will eventually have to choose between Tibet and Nepal. For the time being I have both of them on my list, dreaming is free right ?

4. Fjord, Norway

Pictures I have seen about Norway Fjords are more than what words can describe. I would love to have a chance to see it all in real.

5. Aurora Borealis, Alaska

Northen lights is a phenomenon that I would like to experience and shoot. I know there are other places in the world where I could see it but Alaska is a place I would like to see.

6. Ice Hotel, Sweeden

Just to feel the thrill of a night in sub zero temperature and take some picture of a trip to remember.

7. New Zealand

The land of wonderful landscapes, the part of earth were everything is greener that you ever thought possible. Where, they say, there is 4 cows for every human being. Should I say more ? The country were Lord of the rings was filmed.

8. Yosemite NP, USA

When I was younger I used to look at so many beautiful pictures and read beneath them Yosemite. English not being my native language I ended up by believing that Yosemite means “Beautiful picture”. I just couldn’t conceive there was one place on earth that could be so beautiful N.B.: This is not a joke

9. Taj Mahal, India

Can you know there is something “real” like the Taj Mahal and not long to visit it ? I can’t imagine how it would like under different hours of the day.

10. Kinderdijk, Netherland

Kinderdijk is a village in Netherland that is famous for its 19 windmills. Windmills being one of subjects I would love to take in picture. I really don’t think there is better than Netherland.
