Lebanon on Google Earth
Being a fan of Google Earth and Lebanese I have created a Google Earth File where I tried to put placemarks for the most famous places in Lebanon.
I hope that every one out there will be able to somehow benefit from this little Google Earth project in which I am trying, once again, to promote our country.
On another hand I call all lebanese people out there that visit this page to help me grow my collection of placemarkers. If you know any place in Lebanon that is not already listed (and there are many) please leave a comment in this page with the location name, long./lat., and Description .
Doing this isn’t really hard, all you will have to do is find on your Google Earth the location, click on “Add Placemark” and copy the Long/Lat from the corresponding boxes.
Also please leave a comment if you know any missing information for places already on the map
I am making available 2 files for download.
1) Lebanon.kmz that will let you download all the placemarks to your computer offline.
and
2) NetLebanon.kml that is a network link, linking to the Lebaon.kml on my server so that you will always have the updated version available on your computer.
